Texcan stocks a selection of telephone cable, fiber optic cable and networking cables to meet the emerging communication and technological needs of our customers, and to offer the convenience of buying from one distributor. Our telephone, fiber optio and networking cable product list includes Category 3, cat5E, cat6 and cat7 cables, Ethernet cables, patch cords and computer cables. Typically, the cables have flame retardant PVC insulation and jackets that enable resistance to harsh weather conditions. Both plenum and non-plenum, as well as armoured or non-armoured options are available.
Networking Cable Applications
Telephone, fiber optic and networking cables enable high speed data transmission for a variety of applications – such as telecommunication networks, industrial control systems, digital and analog video, CATV, as well as Ethernet, broadband and baseband connections. Category 3 cables are intended for vertical and horizontal distribution in commercial buildings. Category 5E burial cables can be installed directly into ground, in a duct, or aerially lashed to a member. Fiber optic distribution cables are designed for high speed inter-building and intra-building communication systems.
