Food Bank Donation

While the holiday season is typically a festive time of year, many families are struggling at the moment, particularly given the tough economic times. This year, Texcan donated $1500 to both the Surrey and Delta food banks.

IMSA Fall Technical Session & Tradeshow

IMSA BC, or International Municipal Signal Association of British Columbia is an organization consisting of members from the municipal, provincial and federal government as well as private corporations who are interested in promoting public safety. The installation, construction and maintenance of public safety equipment and systems such as traffic signals, roadway lighting or fire and police alarms are improved through the association’s education and certification efforts. We are pleased to have exhibited at the Executive Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Coquitlam this year.

Manitoba Mining and Minerals Convention

The Manitoba Mining and Minerals Convention is an annual event featuring exploration and mining industry products and services as well as mineral property and highlighted displays of Manitoba’s geology and mineral potential. The convention’s focus is on how new geological findings can attract and assist exploration. It also touches on how industry issues can affect the people and the environment. Workshops on Aboriginal mining will be provided. As mining is the second-largest primary resource industry in Manitoba, this is an important show in the province.
